Sketch #4, Adella.
Again, no flaming on the tracing issue.
This was also based on one of
's sketches. Adella has always been one of my favorites of Ariel's sisters, even though her character has undergone a few alterations. In the movie, Adella is simply a sister and nothing more. While in the TV series, she is portrayed as 'the gourmond' or 'the fat one.' Why they did this, I'm not sure. But in the novels, she's the flirt - which is much more fun and a better fit for her. Thankfully, this character carried over into the third move, even if the correct ages did not.
As with Aquata, Adella translated well to the paper in this pose. I would've given her a background, but there really doesn't need one. (That, and I could've ruined it by adding one.)

My favorite of the other six DoT because she's the most like the typical classic mermaid persona. If it wasn't against the law, you KNOW she's be sitting up there on a beach, trying to figure out why sailing ships kept crashing on the rocks in front of her.
