By now September had all but passed and October was nearly upon us. I'll admit my birthday celebration wasn't quite as lively as Michelle's had been, but we weren't competing for any prize or anything.
Heck, sometimes a smaller celebration is just fine.
Anyways, although a month had passed, the question still remained in my mind. Jeanette had told Michelle that she was entitled to a single wish, for anything she desired. Every second and fourth Friday, Daniel and I went to Santa Clarita for a brief visit with Mother. My parents divorced two years ago. Watching them fight was worse than having my gums scraped... but they were happier being separated. A visit is usually short, and we are always home by Saturday evening. TT Relaunched Ep 6The halls were dark and desolate. Everything seemed to be made of rough, unfinished wood. It made no sense; metal gates and iron bars would prove better security measures.

At least it was cool inside. There were no windows and no bright lights... and no fans. The air was stagnant, and all was still... very still. The only noise came from a distant hum.

Laboratories had always been sterile environments, or so I thought. The back halls of this space were littered with parts and accessories to a machine I had never seen before. Many were caked with dust and dirt.

Finally, I reached the main lab. The hum of the engine drew me closer...

TT Relaunched Ep 5For the first time in my life, skipping school not only seemed like a viable option but also a necessary one. What if they tested that machine again? What if another innocent person had their life altered in a way worse than my own? It bothered me all day... so much so that I accidentally worked myself up to a sweat during Speech class.

Companion piece to Michelle on the Beach, except that Shelly is already in her native state. Though I can guess Greg might be partially responsible, Shelly is either just drying herself or enjoying a suntan while waiting for Michelle to come by and pick her and Greg up.

Was up way too late last night coloring this and making it excellent. Probably took about two hours - I can't really shade, but I'm proud of the gradient work and the fact that her tailfin is see through partially. The lineart came as part of an ongoing commission from
