Dalia Opheris was always skillfull as a child, but having trained under her uncle, Zacharaiah Wolcrest, she has since become the Chief Airship Technician in all of Gaia, and the only woman who has not only helped to build such aircraft but maintain and also improve them. She is rarely seen without a wrench, and even when at rest is constantly thinking of the next project. Boarding the latest such aircraft, the Sky Crescent, has proved to bring to her to distant parts of the world not seen by those in her hometown of Yagin Cove and taken her beyond the borders of Orynthassa, something that has not been done since the Wizards of Cama Knoll departed to their hidden islands. Though this is indeed a worthy goal thus far, there's always the next project.

If there's anything I would have to say about this piece I didn't like it was that it came a bit too late to make it into the bookmarks and shutterfly Characters of Gaia booklet as a finished piece. Likewise, I would've liked to have more time to devote to the background and what an engine room of an airship as complex as the Sky Crescent might appear in real life. All the same, I am very pleased with this final version and cannot say enough good things about it. Dalia is a worker, and yet wears a dress that she can appear elegant and regal in, as the queen of the air that she is. Though book seven is a long ways off, I gotta say that as a current and future project, you all will be very impressed when you finally get to read about her.
