Jeanette explained the events of the battle up to the point when her ability to grant wishes was mistakenly revealed to the Black Rider.  He offered her a cup of warm tea and offered a listening ear to the tale in its entirety.
"Tracker has a tendancy to act before thinking out everything… I don't believe she intended to give away your abilities so readily."
"I'm just lucky that he didn't make any other wishes, Dr. Chase.  The powers that my magic is capable of… I'm far too dangerous."  She sipped from the still steaming cup of tea.  "I feel that I cannot be called on the help them any longer.  If he makes another wish in my presence… who knows what he might wish for."
"Hmm…"  Dr. Chase turned towards his computer and brought up a CCC tracking program.  Similar to the one Michelle had on her computer but plugged into a better scanner similar to Specter's computers, this program is able to track CCC radio signals just like Tracker or Specter.  "I see a blue convertible driving north of town… the last thing you saw was Summer firing her EEG, right?"
Jeanette nodded.
"Michelle knew what the device was capable of… did you get a chance to observe her?"
"She wasn't exactly herself… doctor, why didn't the EEG affect me, or even the Black Rider himself?  Isn't the device supposed to affect people who have been combined?"
"Your case is unique… your magic created Gildecat from your own mind, so you are different than a standard Turbo Teen candidate.  You also said that when the EEG was fired, Kane hadn't yet transformed?"
"No, he was just beginning to however."
Dr. Chase put his hand to his chin.  "There is something we've been looking into, something that I've been wanting to test with a few of the Turbo Teen subjects for a long time.  There is a phenomenon among the nervous system that seems to mask other commands it recieves when the body is transforming…"
The phone rang, interrupting his train of thought.  He checked the number.
"One moment, it's the security desk."  He picked up the reciever.  "Yes?"
Jeanette played with her hair casually as the doctor spoke to the security office.
"The bus, huh?  Very well.  Show them to my main lab.  Thank you."  He hung up.  "Maybe I can convince her to aid me in that right now."
"Who?" Jeanette asked.
"Tiffany Sheffield.  Anyways… we'll have to figure out a way for you to hide your genie ability while you're in Kane's presence.  Or, at least postpone it."
"If someone makes a wish, I can turn it off, but only as long as the wish is in effect.  I'm just glad that nobody could ever wish me to never grant another wish."
"What do you mean?" Dr. Chase asked.
"If someone wished that I couldn't grant wishes until they made another wish, that wish wouldn't take full effect.  The ancient genies planned for it a long time ago - no matter what wish we granted that was similar that way, our ability to grant wishes would always return after a period of 24 hours."
"There's so much I don't know about genie magic," Dr. Chase replied.
"I have a lot more to learn myself, doc.  Anyways, would you like to make that wish now?"
"Not now.  But I'd love to explore how your genie magic works and find out if there is a way to genetically minimize any obgliation you have to grant said wishes."
"Doctor, you will most certainly understand that I do not wish to be genetically altered.  Making it so I chose to grant certain wishes could possibly remove all ability to grant them… meaning, I may never grant a wish again, following the process you describe."
Dr. Chase removed his glasses and nodded.  "As I thought.  Science isn't meant to be used to explain everything in this world.  For now, maybe the easy solution is simply making that wish."  He glanced over Jeanette's shoulder.  "We'll just be careful for now.  They're here.  Come on."

Several moments later, the security officer showed two young girls into the Special Invention Lab.  The redheaded girl was 5'9" and wearing a green jacket and jeans, while the other girl was 5'7" and wore a Florida State jacket over her denim shirt and black Khaki jeans.  Each had a small bag mounted on wheels, which they rolled behind them.
"Which one of you is Tiffany?" Dr. Chase asked as he emerged from his office.  Jeanette entered the lab from behind the doctor.
The girl wearing the green fleece jacket raised her hand.  "I'm Tiffany.  Dr. Chase, I presume?"
"Nice to finally meet you at last, Miss Sheffield.  And you must be Sarah Larson."  Dr. Chase shook both their hands.  "Girls, you've been on the road a long time… did you come straight here from the bus station?"
"We rode Greyhound… I didn't feel like I wanted to drive the whole way," Tiffany replied.
"And she stayed in the shade the entire time.  The buses are air conditioned… it made for a great trip.  We got to see the country and everything!" Sara exclaimed.
"Buses are a nice way to travel," Jeanette spoke up.
"Oh, yes!  Girls, this is an associate of mine, Jeanette Lamplighter."
"Hello," Jeanette waved.
"At any rate, I'll ensure that you both get a hotel room this evening.  You'll be staying at the same hotel as Jeanette, in fact."
"Great," Sarah muttered.
Tiffany removed her fleece jacket and tossed it onto one of the railings near the ray's control area.  Her blue t-shirt was loose and slightly damp from sweat.  "It's hot in here… I didn't realize California would be so warm."
"Tiff, I told you as we were going through the desert…" Sarah began.
Dr. Chase broke them up.  "You were wise to have the jacket, Tiffany.  The desert can get pretty cold at night.  But yes, I don't suppose you'll need it in here.  Though I would like to ask you if you're willing to do something for me."
Tiffany shrugged.  "What would I have to do?"
"I'd like to run a scan of your DNA and your body while you transform, sort of to ensure that your genomes - those are the things that cause you to transform into Skye - are all working as they should and that everything is as it should be.  Would that be okay?"
"I'm not going to… wear all kinds of equipment, am I?" Tiffany suddenly became nervous.  "Dr. Chase, you told me you'd never subject me to… guinea pig treatment."
"We've been on the phone many times.  This is just to ensure you're in good hands… right, Jeanette?"
Jeanette nodded, even though she had never been subjected to any of his tests.
"If you say everything will be okay…" Tiffany replied.  A bead of sweat trickled down her forehead.
"Good.  Let's do this quickly.  Jeanette, can you get those impulse sensors from the drawer in my office?  The top drawer."
Jeanette nodded.

Dr. Chase set up the impulse sensors on Tiffany's forehead, arms, stomach and ankles as she kneeled in the center of the laboratory on her hands and knees.  He then handed Sara and Jeanette a pair of dark glasses.
"What are these for?" Sarah asked.
"The impulse sensors are for measuring your nervous system activity while you transform.  I am also going to run a DNA scan through the Molecular Transfer Ray.  Don't worry!  Your genetic information will not be changed any different than it already is."
"Goodie," Tiffany muttered.
"Where should I stand?" Sarah asked.
"Over here," Jeanette replied.
Sarah and Jeanette stood far against the wall and clear of the ray as Tiffany's hands turned into tires.
"Doc?"  Tiffany looked up as her feet morphed into tires as well.
He quickly ran over to the control area and pushed a few buttons.  "Okay.  Close your eyes as best you can, Tiffany."  The lights in the room went dark as the ray emitter activated, sending a gridlike pattern of light across Tiffany's changing body.  He monitored several readouts as the young lady's hips, posterior and legs began to stretch, forming into a silver trunk with a blue stripe down the middle.  Her stomach changed next, expanding and forming into a passenger section with seats while her arms morphed into doors.  The nervous sensors moved and stretched around as well during this entire process as the young woman's head and shoulders began to change next, forming into a windshield and a hood with a blue stripe down its center.  Her eyes and face formed into headlights and the grill last, completing her transformation from a 19-year old Tiffany Sheffield into a 2008 Mustang GT 500.
Once the transformation was completed, Dr. Chase ran another scan.  "Don't move for one moment, girls."  A series of beeps were heard as the light on the ray went dim, restoring power to the rest of the lights in the room.
"There.  Done," Dr. Chase said.  "Incredible."
"Sorry?" Skye asked.
"I must confess, Skye… you are the first person I've had in my lab consent to the nervous system scan while in a state of transformation.  For that, you are now a real trooper in my book and I dearly thank you for doing so."
"Really?"  Skye and Sarah both asked.
"In ten years of doing this… it's simply astonishing… I'll have to analizye the scan when I get a free moment."  He clicked a few buttons on the terminal, saving the video and the real-time scan to the computer's server.  "Per my agreement with you, you recall I'd set you up with a few of Specter's basic installation packages, yes?"
"The Turbo Thrust, the CCC Radio, and the base weapon package?" Skye asked.
"Weapons, I'm afraid, must be installed on a car that is not yet combined with an individual… there is a great deal of modification necessary for this to be done.  Body work, cutting, bolting… real painful stuff that, due to a lack of proper anesthesia for automobiles, I would be very hard pressed to perform.  Turbo Thrust and CCC radio, however, are much less intrusive and can be installed as quickly as this evening."
"I see," Skye sounded quite sad.  "Very well."
"But as you already have heard from our phone call the other day, this will allow you to speak with Specter and other transformed individuals rather easily.  Shall we proceed?"
"How long?  We haven't had any lunch." Sarah asked.
Dr. Chase checked the clock.  "It is 11:40 now… have you been riding the bus all night?"
"Yes," Skye replied.
"It's been exhausting," Sarah replied.
Dr. Chase nodded.  "If you need to be reimbursed for it, let me know.  I know it took a lot to come out here on such short notice."
"It's no trouble, doc.  Specter did so much for me…" Skye began.
"And she will be happy to see you, no doubt about that."  He saved the information on the computer and made his way back to Skye's side.  "We can install the radio modification in no time at all.  If I get my team here by one, you should be at the hotel by 11.  We had best get started.  Jeanette, if I handed you $40, would you be able to pick up some pizza?"
"Sure," Jeanette replied.  "Anything you wish."
"Don't they deliver in California?" Skye asked.
"Everything inside of this lab is too sensitive for a pizza delivery man's eyes.  Sarah, why don't you go with Jeanette?"
"Um… doc…?" Jeanette whispered.
"Skye, will you move forward?"
"Doc?!" Jeanette said louder.
He winked at her.  "Jeanette is on a trial to see if ordinary people can endure the stress of a temporary transformation.  She was not combined as you were, but has taken a… shall we say, induction, that allowes her to transform into a Corvette.  No heat required."
"Er, yes," Jeanette replied.  The answer apparently was vague enough not to give any secrets without giving any answers.
"A corvette?  Wow, aren't you the lucky one?" Skye asked.
"Maybe," Jeanette answered.  Her secret out, she resigned to the fact that she would be transforming soon, and kneeled to the lab floor.
"Wait!  Your money," Dr. Chase reached into his wallet and plucked two 20s, handing them to her.
"Thanks."  Jeanette stuffed them into her pocket and put her hands on the floor before they turned into tires.
"Whoa!" Sarah gasped.
Skye started her engine and drove forwards to allow for more room while watching behind her, where Jeanette stretched out and transformed into Gildecat.
"Let me introduce you to Gildecat," Dr. Chase said.
"What a neat car!  I've always loved the look of corvettes," Sarah said.  "Someday, I…"
"You wish you'll own one, yeah I hear that a lot," Gildecat cut her off before allowing Sarah to make the wish.  "Come on, now you get to ride in one."  She opened her driver's side door.
"Oh, wait!"  Dr. Chase went into his office and returned with a small card.  "Give this to the attendant at the hotel - while you're out, you may as well check in."
"Okay," Sarah said as she put the card into her jacket pocket.  "Luggage?"
"Bring it later, for now we don't want to waste time," Dr. Chase said as he hit the button for the automatic door.
"Any topping preferences?" Gildecat asked.
"Sarah knows what I like," Skye replied.
"I know, pepperoni and pimentos," Sarah said as she climbed into Gildecat's driver's seat.
"That's an odd combo," Gildecat said.
"I have to get the mild pepperoni nowadays… but it's still my favorite," Skye answered.
"I'll eat anything," Dr. Chase replied.  "Though I prefer Canadian bacon.  You might head to the Pizza Palace - there's one up on 17th Ave just north of the I-10 expressway."
"You want just one pizza for $40?"
"Spend all of it - their extra large pizzas will feed seven.  Maybe bring a few two liters of pop if they have any diet."
"Sounds good."  Gildecat backed out of the garage door opening and turned around before skidding her tires and zooming down past the parking lot.
"What should I be doing, Dr. Chase?" Skye asked.
He made his way around her fenders, pulling off nervous sensors as he went.  "You and I are going to get to know each other… and then discuss what you're here for."
"I know that you need my help, otherwise I would not have come," Skye replied.
"You have no idea, Skye.  I'm just glad you aren't in school yet."
"I start mechanic school this fall.  I'm looking forward to it… a car, working on cars."
Dr. Chase chuckled.  "I never would've guessed a sweet young girl like you, a cheerleader no less, would want to be an automotive mechanic."
"Auto body," Skye replied.  "I'd like to work at a place where they trick out cars, like on Pimp My Ride."
"I'm sure you'll do good."

At a park across the way from a busy highway, Summer parked and allowed her passengers to disembark.
"Line up and face me," Kane ordered.
Kris Matthews and Collette Simmons both stood on either side of Summer, who remained parked between them.
"Who is your master?" Kane asked as he paced before the three of them.
"Kane Rider," all three chimed.
"In turn, state your names."
"Kris Matthews."
"Summer."
"Collette Simmons."
Kane nodded.  "Alternate forms?"
"Tracker."
"Michelle Peyton."
"Specter."
"And will you follow my orders to the letter?"
"Yes master."
"Will you obey any order given to you?"
"Yes master."
"Will you defend me with your lives?"
"Yes master."
"What is our current objective?"
"To infiltrate the FBI warehouse."
"Where is that warehouse?" Kane asked.
Collette motioned across the freeway, where the FBI regional headquarters were located.  The warehouse was located across the street to the west of the complex.
"How are we to proceed?"
"I will be the one to enter the warehouse and prepare the target," Collette replied.
"I will be the one to divert the attention of the guards and give cover to the infiltrator," Kris replied.
"I will be a secondary diversion and be ready to deacitvate any alarms that may be triggered," Summer replied.
"All of you are able to escape if necessary.  But together, you will succeed.  Where will I meet you?"
"We will return to my headquarters this evening upon success of our mission," Summer replied.
"Will you tell anyone of your transpiring?" Kane asked.
"No master," all three chimed.
"Will you obey any order that gives away your actions, loyalty, or secrets?"
"No master."
Kane reached into his pocket and removed a large key from the ring and handed it to Collette.  "This is how you will prepare the target.  Do you remember the code?"
"Alpha zeta phi phi omega tango," Collette repeated.
"And?"
"Omega phi delta."
With a nod, he turned to Kris.  "Do you remember the layout of the building?"
"Main gateway on the north side facing away from the freeway.  Guard quarters on the west and east facades."
Another nod.  He then turned towards Summer.  "Where are the alarm cables located?"
"Within the main complex and outside beside phone lines and electrical panels."
Kane removed from his jacket pocket a pair of insulated clippers.  He then placed these inside Summer's window and upon her driver's seat.
"Where will you find me?"
"You will shadow us during the mission and join us at headquarters," all the girls chorused.
"What will you do if there is any interference?"
"We will contact you via CCC radio."
Another final nod.  "You are Team Turbulent.  You will succeed."
"Yes master."
"Go."
Kris and Collette climbed into Summer, who started up her engine.  She backed out of the parking spot and onto the main drag, heading for the warehouse.
Once they were away, Kane reached into his pocket for another red hot candy.  He popped it into his mouth and kneeled to the ground.
His hands turned into tires, followed shortly after by his feet as his torso began to grow longer.  Next his lower body formed into the chiseled rear of a black Ferrari, followed by his midsection and head into the rest of the smooth lined vehicle.
The Black Rider started its engine and began to tour the neighborhood, unable to scan his teammates through any computer methods but visually observing the trio as they carried out their mission.
Black Rider Saga, Part Two, Chapter Four.

Team Turbulent... doesn't that just sound evil?

I was asked a question once (or maybe I dreamt it) - why only use women for changers? Well, I like cars and women - and I'm straight. So I came up with an answer - there are two guys that change in the course of the fan fiction - Bret and Kane. So why not make it so that one guy is good and one is bad; kinda like leaders of a team.

Back in the day, it was Team Turbo - they were the group that watched out for Diego City and aided the police in criminal matters, thus protecting their secrets and making their town a safer place. Now, Team Turbulent is ravaging the city - and in an ironic twist, many of those same members from Team Turbo are doing the ravaging.

It sounds bad, and maybe it is... but how bad can it get?

...having Jeanette around is driving me bonkers =P Haha. I always run into questioning the story too much when genies become involved. It's mainly the infinite amount of power that a genie possesses...and then no one thinks to even try using it, like just wishing Black Rider back into jail or wishing to know what his evil scheme was or something :/ I mean yeah then there wouldn't be a story, but still it's something that always bugs me

Good story in any case :D
